Serving and volunteering at Bethel Baptist church is a great way for members to use their gifts while getting to know others. As a church family we are dedicated to making the love of God known as we engage each other and the community we serve. Explore our service/ministry opportunities to get started!
CARE
Showing that we “Care” about out community and surrounding neighbors is central to our belief in helping “the least of us.” Our church joyfully volunteers and partners with agencies who give back to our community such as Feeding Westchester, White Plains Housing, Lifting Up Westchester and the Slater Community Center.
Children & Youth – “Training Up A Child”
Our children and youth ministry is essential to their spiritual growth and the future leadership of our church and community. As such, we seek to instill the word of God in their hearts so they can become disciples of Christ. This is accomplished through teaching God’s word, discipleship, fellowship, mentoring and worship. We welcome children and youth of all ages and those members who have a passion for this ministry.
Music/Arts – “Make A Joyful Shout!”
Adults, Children & Youth are encouraged to participate in the music ministry choir, praise team, praise dance, mime and spoken word. Members who would like to do so are welcome to become instruments who lift up the Name of Jesus through these expressions in our worship services.
Men – “Iron Sharpens Iron”
This ministry seeks to strengthen men in their spiritual walk with the Lord. Fellowships and workshops are held to create bonding times, unity and purpose among men of God. Volunteerism and mentoring opportunities are sought in and outside the church as a means of “giving back” as men of God.
Technology & Social Media
Our Technology Ministries exist to link media with our ministry, understanding that Information Technology is an effective and efficient means to enhance the delivery of praise and worship, teachings, fellowships, podcast etc. for the soul purpose of winning of souls and developing disciples of Christ.. We serve as a primary connection for streaming and hybrid experiences at all BBC gatherings. Your expertise in technology and social media would be an added enhancement to our Team.
